3 B - blue, beige , butterfly

Lately I'm very fond of coffee...as for blue I love it since I know myself ;) .
Each day starts for me with this cup filled . Each sip brings me closer and closer to blue, to beige and to....coffee. LOL.

Having it in front of my eyes , it was impossible to not use the colors in a card. A love card.
Love can be tender, love can be sweet, love mustn't be draw only in red, right ? ;)

Two recycled cardboard hearts, gessoed and distressed, a bunch of silk flowers, paper flowers , another tiny heart of plaster and a few butterflies.... such a play !

The sentiment is made out of two lines of a song ... hand-writed. Just to go along with the musical paper-sheet ;).

Challenges

B - black, board, love ;)

Love can be shy, love can be bold... love can be hidden or can be write out ''loud''.
well, that's my try in chalkboard technique for saying out loud my love :

I was quite impressed about how nice and beautiful is working with this technique.
I've also clear embossed some borders and the central frame...then I use a white Schneider paint marker to highlight some spots here and there...

The red checked background and medium grey layer seems to me a perfect support for the black board.
And guess what : I didn't use any chalk, only white stamp pad sponging ;). You must try this , too !

some lines in a quiet Sunday

Have you ever eat some potatoes slices grilled on the wood stove ? I'm crazy about them ... here is one of my favorite between-meals snack plate : hot slices splashed with EVO oil and some salt. Healthy and sooo cheap. Healthy is the major word now. ;)

And another tiny card. A real love card. Precious love ...
Embossed cardboard, red corrugated cardboard, gold mirror cardboard and some old music notes...

Due to the height resulted, this time I made a volume envelope for the card ( or you can call it ''envelobox'' )

Now this card has something new : inside I create a pocket for something small ( you can put inside a  delicate pair of earrings, or a necklace, or some money  ;) ) and a tag along . This is the inside :

and here's a close-up :

Yesterday evening, our guests spoiled me with a delicate seven tulips bouquet.... I just can't let them fade away without a picture ;)

What a Sunday.... an almost 3 hours electricity black-out that shows us how much we are connected to it. No power, no internet, no movies.... lucky to have the fireplace hot.
Wishing you a relaxing and warm Sunday evening !
